Marketing and selling mobile products via the Internet


Focus: This workshop is designed to help mobile operators, terminal producers, content providers and media companies looking to market and sell mobile services via the Internet.

Background:
The Internet has proven itself as an important distribution channel for both mobile terminals and digital products and will continue to do so in the future market for mobile terminals and services. It offers many possibilities of a cost-effective and customised service to customers, and the possibility of selling additional products and services.

Challenge:
The challenge is how to make best use of this new distribution channel, which differ significantly from physical distribution channels – also in terms of strengths and weaknesses. One challenge will be to bundle terminals and services since services offer much greater revenue potential compared with terminals.

How this workshop can add value:

We have provided advice to a number of operators and terminals producers on how to optimise sales through the bundling of terminals and services.
